WHS HONORARY SERVICE AWARDSA single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. - Amelia Earhart It is not just a cliché, but a truth that it takes a village to raise our young people into adults with compassion, integrity and excellence. In our community, we have a number of people who deserve to be recognized for their commitment to positively influencing the lives of our children. Please take the time to see the HSA (Honorary Service Award) nomination form below and thoughtfully consider the people who make a daily impact on our young people. Showing gratitude is the most beautiful way to encourage continued efforts and fill the cup of those who give of themselves so freely. OPPORTUNITY TO BE AN AP TEST PROCTOR The District Office Test Center is in dire need of proctors to help administer the AP exams in all of the CVUSD high schools during May 4-15. This is a paid position. Parents cannot proctor in classrooms with their respective children testing. Please note on the form if you have a student & what tests they are registered to take. WARRIOR WISHES ARE STILL AVAILABLE IN THE PTSA ONLINE STORE CLICK HERE TO DONATE Thanks to your generosity, Warrior Wishes funds from this Fall are being used to purchase necessary classroom items, including graphing calculators, core literature books, Mobile Tidepool and Subzero Chemistry lab visits, Spectrophotometers, AP review books, science and world language magazine subscriptions, choir, orchestra and band music, and so much more. More items will be approved in the Spring, so it’s never too late to donate. Thanks again for your support of our classrooms!
